Contemporary Artist 

Plants predominate throughout my art practice. 
I create portraits that connect people with plants and the land, along with scientific botanical watercolour paintings, abstract drawings, and still life studies in oil. My chosen surfaces are paper, linen, and canvas.

Recent exhibitions include the Trinity Buoy Wharf Working Drawing Prize, London; the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London; the Scottish Portrait Awards, Edinburgh; the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize, London; Scottish Fine Art Awards, Glasgow Art Club; SSA 30x30, Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh; and the Winter Exhibition, Meffan Museum and Art Gallery, Forfar.
