Royal Academy Summer Show 2025

I couldn’t decide on a picture, so here are a few from the wonderful experience of being shortlisted, exhibited, and having the work "Pear I" sold at the Royal Academy—not to mention all the kind and generous people I met there.
The varnishing day started with a gathering of artists in front of the RA with a steel band, and then a clergy procession to St James Church, the artists' church. There was a service, and then there was a reception and the private view of the exhibition. I had a lovely time. Now I am sitting in the cafe of the portrait gallery, eating the most delicious cake!
